I've enjoyed virtually every article that you and your team have created. The wide range of topics and the quality and depth of thought that are put into them makes them rewarding to read. I even think that digesting these pieces has helped me in better orating my own ideas and thoughts with others, both verbally and in writing. Thank YOU Tomas!

Goodness, thank YOU, Tomas. Thank you for the incredible quality of articles you write and the difference they have made in my life. I'm just one person and you have made a huge difference in my understanding of some things that are very important to me. You have improved the quality of my life and the lives of those around me in tangible and meaningful ways. When I see one of your articles in my inbox if at all possible I stop what I am doing and read. Thank you for writing. Thank you for saying yes to Substack---I look forward to paying my next subscription fee. Thank you for shining your light into a world that needs more light and contributing your time, thoughts and intelligence to this endeavor. You are deeply appreciated!

One of the things you do really well is help sort out what is actually of concern vs. what is just noise. As attention is one of the most important assets we have, being able to discern what to pay closer attention to and it's okay to ignore is super valuable.

One of the hardest things! People don't realize how much.

For me, the book that opened my eyes to that was Pre-suasion, by Cialdini. Highly recommended if you haven't read it!

I totally agree with many perfectly stated comments from others like Kay, JMac and Hamza. Even though they’ve said it all, I feel compelled to actually post additional compliments because I find this service too important to be encapsulated as a like.

I’m one of your “archipelago” people, and the short term noise from the “mainland” drives me to distraction and frustration.

It’s a genuine mental relief to find a source of media with depth, perspective and a focus on truly important topics rather than frippery and unsubstantiated opinion.

Keep it up Tomas, it’s worth every cent and some.

I've been a fan since your very first article about Covid! Wow! What an eye-opener! I've learned so much from you and your articles force me to think about things that I might not have otherwise which I believe we could all use more of these days. Thanks for all you do!!

Yes, exactly how I stumbled across Tomas, from the first article he wrote about Covid.

I started working 2 jobs totalling 48-52 hrs in May so now only sporadically read in here, but have randomly (like now) gone back months in my inbox to see what I missed. Phasing out a job now, so will have more free time by the end of this year. 🙂

Tomas, congratulations on your one-year anniversary! I appreciate your insights and viewpoint. Also, I appreciate your consideration of the commenters. The conversation becomes what John Henry Cardinal Newman called, “the play of lively minds.”

I look forward to your future thoughts. The past may be only prologue, as the saying goes, but this last year has been a great prologue.

Thank you John, for this, and for consistently increasing the already high average quality of comments. This is not the best format for debate, it even this is a part of the experience that I always look forward to!

Thank you, Tomas, for your work.

I appreciate your experimenting with different topics, levels of depth, and tradeoffs between free and premium articles. There are no right answers and even experiments that don't work well will point you in a better direction. And, of course, if you get a sudden inspiration to write a viral-potential article, or two, or three -- you should follow your instincts. After all, the most important thing for you, and for your readers, is that you enjoy what you are doing.

Thank you for all your articles. They are truly enlightening. I wanted to ask if you could publish an article on Crypto- not necessarily what it is, but specifically if you think it is good or bad. Is it a virtuous invention where decentralization is an advantage, or in essence unregulated currency that doesnt do anything better than existing solutions?

I have an NFTs one coming soon.

For blockchain, Bitcoin is a proven use case. Outside of that, I can barely think of mechanisms for which blockchain is superior. That said, this sells blockchain short, because (1) I think more use cases will appear, (2) we underestimate Web3’s role in bypassing bad regulation, and (3) the ethos is at least as important, if not more, than the tech, at least for now.

Gracias¡¡
